Pregnant woman, husband commit suicide

A pregnant woman and her husband committed suicide at their house in Akkayyapalem of Visakhapatnam on 2 November.

According to reports, the couple was identified as Vasu and Anitha.

While the body of Vasu was found hanging, Anitha was found dead on the floor nearby.

What forced the two, who got married a couple of months ago, to take the extreme step is not known immediately.

Fourth town police are investigating.

Police tried in vain to save the infant. They took the pregnant woman to KGH, where doctors said the baby died too.
