Jersey Twitter Review: Summer is here and so are some much-awaited films from Telugu film industry. While it was Majili that struck gold earlier this month, last week witnessed the audience appreciate Sai Dharam Tej’s Chitralahari. This weekend too, seems to be sorted with Jersey hitting the screens on Friday. Featuring Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles, the Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial promises to be an engaging sports drama.

It may be noted that 2018 wasn’t a particularly great year for Nani. After not managing to get the cash registers ringing with Awe, he couldn’t woo the audience with his Krishnarjuna Yuddham and Devadas either. The actor, however, has pinned hopes on Jersey and if the first few reviews are anything to by, Nani has certainly hit it out of the park with his latest flick.

Here’s what the audience had to say about Jersey on Twitter:

“One word O.U.T.S.T.A.N.D.I.N.G @NameisNani You never seize to surprise!! Not able to get over the last 20 minutes! #Jersey Speciale mention @anirudhofficial! Blockbuster background lifts the whole emotion to the next level!” wrote Aryan Deepak.

“Can’t remember when was the last time a film emotionally moved me like Jersey. Each and every person associated with this film can feel proud. Career defining performance by @NameisNani and words cannot describe the conviction of Gautham,” tweeted a cine goer while another tweet read, “Man Nani what an actor. Dude delivered the best performance of his career. I loved the film but it may be a little emotional for some. But the climax was great and it was super well made. People shouldn’t miss out on it.”

“@NameisNani hits it out of the park. Career-best performance from him. Hats off Gowtham Tinnanuri for churning out an authentic sports drama in Telugu Cinema,” opined another user on Twitter.

Director BVS Ravi lauded the film and wished luck to director Gowtam Tinnanuri and team. Actors Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi were among others from the film fraternity who wished the best to the film.
