Garlic Pickle – Recipe


Preparation Time: 30 minutes


• 200 gms garlic- peel the pods and keepit aside.
• 100 ml sesame oil
• 100 gms red chili powder
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 2 tsp roasted fenugreek powder
• ½ cup lemon juice
• Salt to taste


1. Heat oil in a wok add garlic pods.
2. Fry till light golden brown on medium flame.
3. Take off flame.
4. When it is warm add chili powder and fenugreek powder stir well.
5. Add turmeric powder and salt mix well.
6. Add lemon juice and shift into a glass jar.
7. Leave it for 3-4 hours.
8. Now it is ready to consume.
9. You can store for 2- 3 months.

Serve with Rice/Roti
