From Marvel TV shows to Indian web series, Disney+ Hotstar has been causing quite the storm in the streaming world this year. While it has a huge catalogue of movies and web series for people to watch, apart from other things like sports and news, everyone wants to watch the latest content. And Disney+ Hotstar delivers in that regard, rolling out a slew of new, exciting movies and TV shows every month. The same is the case with the coming two months, with the OTT platform announcing its lineup for the next two months and people are now rushing to get a Disney+ Hotstar subscription.
“This Caption was about to blow your mind but we’ll just let this line up do it for us,” said Disney+ Hotstar in a tweet dated 27 July 2021. While the OTT platform didn’t reveal the release dates, a mere title lineup of the upcoming movies sent social media abuzz.

Here is Disney+ Hotstar full lineup of the new movies and shows releasing on the platform this year:
#1 The Empire
This historical drama stars Kunal Kapoor in the lead as the Mughal emperor Babur and tells the story of how he conquered India. The series has been created by Nikhil Advani and is one of the biggest upcoming releases on the Disney+ Hotstar slate.
#2 Rudra: The Edge of Darkness

After Bhuj: The Pride of India (which will release on 11 August 2021, Ajay Devgn’s next big project is this crime-thriller series. A remake of the British series Luther, this cop-drama will have Ajay Devgn don a police uniform again but in a completely different shade.
#3 Aarya (Season 2)
Sushmita Sen roared back in Bollywood in 2020 with this crime drama who takes over an illegal drug business after her husband’s death. The series is packed with cool dialogues and action sequences. The success of the show led to its renewal for a second season which has completed filming. A release date is yet to be announced.
#4 Human
The next Hindi medical-drama on everyone’s watchlist, Human stars Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari in the lead.

Here comes another murder mystery with an all-female lead cast. It’s about an interesting case of murder for which 6 women are being suspected. Mandira Bedi, Dipannita Sharma and Urmila Kothare headline the cast of this series.
#6 City of Dreams Season 2
This political drama based in Mumbai was a huge success with its first season. Now, it’s back with a second season where you get to see Priya Bapat’s character take the reigns as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra in tumultuous times. City of Dreams Season 2 is now available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar.
#7 Escaype Live
