The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Chandrababu Naidu has made promises to Visakhapatnam such as a new SEZ and others.
Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu has promised that a new Special Economic Zone, SEZ will be set up in the Narsipatnam Circle of Visakhapatnam. A promise that would translate into heightened economic growth and better job prospects for the youth as a SEZ would surely better the market. This plan has been revealed at the fifth edition of the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme at Dharmasagaram in Narsipatnam mandal on Friday. The action in this regard has been undertaken and land acquisition of 700 acres in addition to available government land of 500 acres for the SEZ has been done. The agency area needs to be developed and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has heard the local representatives of Visakhapatnam.
That is not all. In the proposals are the road widening project of the municipality which is expected to be approved very soon. In addition to this the requirement of funds for meeting the municipality and civic needs of the circle in Visakhapatnam has been put forward. In this context, Chandrababu Naidu has promised funds to meet the requirements of widening of roads to clear traffic issues, upgrade of the Gurukul School to a Junior College and funds for Yellamanchili and Narsipatnam municipalities. The development of the proposed railway line from Raipur to Visakhapatnam through Narsipatnam and Kothavalasa was also discussed and work on it to be speeded up.
