The New Me

The first question that arrives in your head is “why would I like to change my self, don’t I love myself the way I am?” and the answer is “yes, I obviously do!” Then why the new me? Because, you want to be your own fan, to believe “main apni favourite hoon.” Why not be a fan of yourself than of someone who doesn’t even know you exist? Why not try an experiment in self improvement just for a week, 7 days, that’s all. If you feel a positive change then feel free to thank us, if not, then say, “hum to bhai jaise hai, waise rahenge.”

Plans? uh um…No plans! We don’t know why people don’t understand the simple phrase “live in the present”, is it really difficult? We’re glad to say ‘No’. Everyone thinks of their future and their dreams, but according to us and Mr.Rancho “Bachcha kabil bano, kabil … kamyabi toh jhak maarke peeche bhagegi.” So, in the process of reaching your destination, enjoy the path, make conscious efforts to make your day better. All you have to do is write down the things you need to accomplish that day, that’s it.

Meditation, yoga and exercise not only makes one physically fit but also makes your mind stable and develop wisdom. Everything will not change in a second, you need to have patience. By the end of this you will get to know yourself- the best you and the worst you. Just observe your regular life, your habits, the way you talk, act, react, things you love and hate, things that effect you and create stress, every minute detail matters.

After 2-3 days of this, you will notice how much energy and time you are wasting on things that you don’t actually care about. Hence, focus on the things you love, like reading, music, dance, creative works, gardening, cycling, driving, etc.

After 3-4 days, -ve thoughts will slowly turn +ve. Everything around you will seem beautiful, you will talk less but will show more love through both thoughts and action by doing something special for your dear ones. Even non-living things will appear talking to you and giving signs to motivate you, leaving you wondering what an amazing world you are living in. You will need no outer happiness or material things to fulfill you, will find the satisfaction and the peace within you.

So, try it for yourself because, “zindagi na milegi dobara.”
