Talks are being held to find a permanent solution to the water problem in 123 municipalities across the State, according to Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana. The Minister, who had a meeting with alliance MLAs in Visakhapatnam on Friday night, said water from the Godavari would solve the problem to a large extent, and a point had been identified to store the water.
Ruling out the possibility of a water crisis due to data centres, Narayana alleged that it was a misinformation campaign and was politically motivated. On the Velampeta slum development project, the Minister said 12-storeyed apartments would come up in the area, with each family getting a flat of 400 sq ft.
