
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will take part in a slew of programmes to be held in Visakhapatnam on 17 September.
After arriving in the city from Tadepalli in Guntur district by a special helicopter at 11.15 a.m., the Chief Minister will reach the A U Sagarika Function Hall and participate in the women and child health screening camp programme.
Later, the Chief Minister will participate in the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’ to be launched virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the AU Convention Centre at 12 noon. After the launch by Modi, the Chief Minister will address the gathering.
He will also participate in the Global Capability Centre Business Summit to be organised by CII at Hotel Radisson Blu at 3 p.m. Chandrababu Naidu will leave the city for Tadepalli at 5.20 p.m.
Meanwhile, city police commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi, Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok and other officials reviewed security and other arrangements at the venues of the programmes to be attended by the Chief Minister.
This is the third time the Chief Minister is visiting the city so far in the month of September.
Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu was in Visakhapatnam on 2 and 5 September to participate in the East Coast Maritime and Logistics Summit and International Mediation Conference respectively.
