The coalition government in Andhra Pradesh is committed to developing Vizag as the financial capital of the State, according to Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for several works in Gajuwaka along with the area MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao on 23 October, the Mayor observed that the process of transforming the city into a financial capital would help generate jobs for the youth in the entire North Andhra.
To give a facelift to the industrial area of Gajuwaka, several works, including the laying of roads, construction of culverts, and drains, are being undertaken with an allocation of Rs. 18.37 crore, said the Mayor.
Palla Srinivasa Rao stated that the government was giving equal priority to both development and welfare while focusing on developing Vizag as a financial capital. All the areas in Gajuwaka would witness full-fledged development after completion of the works for which the stone was laid, said the MLA.
