Lokesh invites Tata Group chief to TCS centre inauguration in Vizag

State HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has called on Tata Group Chairman Chandrasekharan in Mumbai and invited him to the inaugural of the TCS development centre in Vizag slated for this month, in the latest news.

Lokesh has also requested Chandrasekharan to invest in Andhra Pradesh and contribute to the growth of the State.

Lokesh also met Rustomjee Group chairman Boman Rustom Irani and sought his partnership in the development of Andhra Pradesh.

He requested the well-known real estate developer to build a luxury township in the fast-developing city of Visakhapatnam.

In other news, the ACA-VDCA stadium in Vizag will feature two cricket stands named after legendary women cricketers, Mithali Raj and Ravi Kalpana. This decision was taken after star batter Smriti Mandhana’s request to dedicate two stands at the Vizag cricket stadium during the “Breaking Boundaries” fireside chat with Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh in August 2025.
