Visakhapatnam to Host National Tourism Mart on February 13–14, 2026

The State government will hold a two-day National Tourism Mart in Visakhapatnam on February 13 and 14, 2026. Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh announced that the event will be jointly organised with the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI). 

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the State Tourism Department and the representatives of ADTOI. This MoU will contribute to accelerating the growth of the domestic tourism sector,

The National Tourism Mart will serve as a platform to showcase the hidden potential of the State’s coastal tourism, tribal area tourism, monuments with a rich heritage, and several eco-adventure tourism circuits.

The Highlights from the National Tourism Mart:

The mart will witness the participation of many well-known names in the tourism sector, including hotel owners, travel experts, tour operators, destination promoters, and stakeholders.

The minister expressed that there will be several networking sessions, presentations about destinations, and discussions about tourist spots in the State. Through these meetings, he hopes that local tourism businesses can establish connections with big companies, attract more tourists to the State, create local jobs, and ensure that the State is visible at the national level for tourism.

The representatives of ADTOI stated that their mission is to bring lesser-known tourism spots in the State to light, increase domestic tourism, promote sustainable tourism, and provide employment opportunities for local communities.

They also stated that the Andhra Pradesh government is committed to collaborating with national associations to enable comprehensive tourism growth.

The programme was attended by Special Secretary of Tourism Ajay Jain, Managing Director of AP Tourism Development Corporation and CEO of AP Tourism Authority Amrapali Kata, Deputy CEO of APTA Srinivas, AP State Creativity and Culture Commission Chairperson Tejaswi Podapati, Communication Officer S. Padma Rani, ADTOI president Ved Khanna, vice-president Ashish, Travel Mart CEO Vijay Mohan and others.
