A massive robbery that has come to light from MVP colony in Visakhapatnam has left the residents in shock.
A businessman, by the name Surender Reddy, lives in sector-5 of MVP colony. Mr. Reddy returned home on Friday, after finishing his Singapore visit, to find the doors of his house broken. He soon found out that the home was completely messed up and came to terms with the fact that some thieves had broken into the house during his absence.
Mr. Reddy soon reported the incident to the crime branch of the MVP Police station who reached the locale immediately. The investigation team was then called to the spot who collected several clues, including some fingerprints, on the location.
Mr. Reddy has complained that an amount of Rs 8 lakhs, along with 750 grams of gold, has been robbed from the house. The police are currently investigating the case to gain further insights.
This comes as yet another shocker after a gruesome theft case was reported from MVP Colony sector-11 during last month. A 70-year-old woman was duped by two individuals and was robbed of Rs. 1,00,000 along with approximately 300 grams of gold.
These incidents have set a state of panic among the residents of Visakhapatnam’s largest colony who are hoping that the police personnel gets the situation under control.
