
Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will attend the CII partnership summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on 14 and 15 November. Among others who will grace the event include Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Ministers Nirmala Seetharaman, Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnav and Ministers from as many as 33 countries.
To be held in the Andhra University Engineering Grounds, the prestigious summit is likely to see the participation of over 300 delegates from 45 countries. It is expected that over 400 MoUs will be signed during the two-day meet, attracting investments on a huge scale.
Another significant aspect is that the foundation stone for the ArcelorMittal steel plant near Anakapalle will be laid during the summit.
Meanwhile, the GVMC is busy beautifying the city for the huge gathering of industrialists. Works like road repairs, painting, greenery and illumination are in progress. Corporation Commissioner Ketan Garg is overseeing the work, giving the necessary suggestions to the staff.
The Chief Minister, who is keen on the success of the meet, will arrive in the city ahead of the summit’s inauguration to host a dinner for the visiting delegates on 13 November.
