Pawan Kalyan dispels rumours on his “upcoming” film

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan is currently busy leading his JanaSena Party’s campaign across Andhra Pradesh. However, a few reports predicted that the 47-year-old, who would be contesting next year, is likely to sign a film prior to the elections in the state.

As per these reports, Pawan Kalyan was supposed to be seen on the big screen once again. The speculations also claimed that either of K.S Ravindra (a.k.a. Bobby) or Kishore Kumar Pardasani (a.k.a Dolly) would be directing the film.

However, dispelling these rumours, Pawan Kalyan released a note stating that he wouldn’t be acting in any film now.

In the note, Pawan Kalyan wrote, “The news that I would be acting in a film soon is false. I haven’t agreed to act in any film.”

Mentioning that there was no time to act in a film, Pawan Kalyan further stated that he has dedicated his time entirely for social causes. “Being in the people, I, along with my fans and Janasainiks, am strongly questioning the wrongdoings of the political leaders.”

The JanaSena Party Chief made it clear that he isn’t focussing on films now, and is working exclusively towards people’s causes and establishing a new society.

On the other hand, JanaSena Party also recently confirmed that it wouldn’t be contesting in the upcoming elections in Telangana and would be taking part in the Lok Sabha elections next year.
