
State HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who is on a tour of Australia, held a series of meetings with industrialists and invited them to invest in the state.
Lokesh met Bijal Sejpal, COO of Bupa Asia Pacific, in Melbourne on 23 October and requested him to explore the possibility of establishing a Bupa Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Visakhapatnam.
Highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s expanding IT and data centre ecosystem, Nara Lokesh sought collaboration on digital health services. Responding positively, Sejpal said the proposals would be discussed at a high-level meeting.
