YS Jagan welcomes veteran actor Mohan Babu into YSRCP

Ending numerous speculations, veteran actor-politician Mohan Babu met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter’s Lotus Pond Residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday to join YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Mohan Babu was accompanied by his son, Manchu Vishnu.

The Party’s supremo, YS Jagan welcomed the senior actor into the party by honouring him with a party scarf. Speaking to media reporters in the occasion, Mohan Babu recollected his bond with TDP Founder N.T. Rama Rao and shared that he has made a comeback to politics after two decades. He stated that he did not join the party for any post.

Expressing confidence that YSRCP would win the upcoming polls and YS Jagan will be crowned as the Chief Minister of the state, Mohan Babu further added that he joined hands with Jagan for the betterment of people.

Taking to social media, the actor announced his move to join YSRCP by sharing, “Dear Jagan, you have been fighting for Telugu people and have invited me into your party so that we can fight together. Here, I come. Victory is assured.”

It may be noted that Mohan Babu’s son, Manchu Vishnu, is married to Viranica Reddy, who is the cousin of YS Jagan.
