Latest Vizag news: AP IT Minister invites BlackBird CEO to relocate to Vizag

Andhra Pradesh IT minister Nara Lokesh has invited the co-founder and CEO of BlackBird, Rajesh Yabaji, to relocate to Vizag, after he announced plans to move out of Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) area, in latest Vizag news.

The entrepreneur took to X and announced his decision to move out of the place, while listing a couple of points. The reasons listed by the co-founder include the roads of the ORR area in Bengaluru being full of potholes and having poor maintenance, an increase in commuting time for his colleagues due to traffic congestion, and no guarantee that this will change in the next 5 years.

Following the post, Nara Lokesh pitched relocating the logistics technology company to Vizag. He listed out points that Vizag is rated among the top 5 cleanest cities in India, has been rated one of the safest cities in India for women, and is in the process of building best-in-class infrastructure.

The post gained the attention the netizens, who were highlighting the critical state of the roads in Bengaluru and that the government needs to step up and take the required action to ensure smooth commuting options. The Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister D K Shivakumar has announced a civic repair project highlighting road repair and construction worth Rs 1,100 crore. This project will ensure that all constituencies will enjoy pothole free roads and enhance traffic congestion in the city.
