Mystery surrounding couple’s death unravelled

The death of a couple at Akkayyapalem in Visakhapatnam on 2 November, which was initially suspected to be a case of suicide, was proved to be a different one. It may be mentioned here that the couple—Vasu and Anitha—were found dead at home.

Based on the post-mortem report, the police, who are investigating the case, came to the conclusion that Vasu strangulated Anitha and later committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan.

According to the parents of Anitha, their son-in-law, of late, started suspecting their daughter.

The couple was married eight months ago.
