Under the influence of alcohol, Vizag man creates havoc on roads

A man, under the influence of alcohol, created havoc on the roads of Vizag city on Friday by blocking the traffic for a very long time of the national highway.

As per the reports, S. Srinu, a resident of Tenniti Nagar in Vizag was driving drunk on the city roads. At the Birla Junction on the National Highway, Srinu has crossed ways with a school bus and the bus driver had to apply a sudden brake. While the driver started fuming over Srinu for his rash driving, Srinu parked his two-wheeler in the middle of the road, got onto the bus and started beating the driver. He also attacked the cleaner for trying to stop the fight.

Srinu also attacked the passers-by who tried to confront him about the issue. The driver of the bus immediately called the police and informed about the incident. Srinu was taken into custody in the nearby police station.

For injuring the civilians, bus driver and the cleaner, Srinu was charged under the necessary sections of the law and prisoned at the station.
