Youth ends life for failing CA exam

A youth in Visakhapatnam committed suicide on 4 November after failing the CA examination, the results of which were recently released.

The youth, Akhil Venkata Krishna, who was staying with his parents at Arolova in the city, left home a couple of days ago, informing his parents that he was going to Guntur to take coaching to make the exam attempt again.

However, instead of going to Guntur, he rented a room at Kobbarithota in One Town and was staying there. On Tuesday, he ended his life by inhaling a poisonous gas after covering his face with a plastic cover.

He left a note apologising to his parents for telling them a lie. He further mentioned in the note that he has no right to live anymore.

The police seized the note and sent the body to KGH for post-mortem examination.
