Here is a list of Netflix series that we loved so far and would want you to watch.

1. YOU

The story is about Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, who had a traumatic childhood  full of neglect and abandonment. He grows up to have a charming personality outside, but also a dangerous, obsessive, and homicidal persona inside. Joe develops the “White Knight Syndrome”, where he inserts himself in the lives of various women, some of whom weren’t even his partners, to “save” them. The  Netflix series is a psychological thriller that deeply explores the human psyche.

2. The Ba***ds Of Bollywood

Directed by Aryan Khan, this Netflix series will remind you of the early 2000s with its star-studded cast and cameos, giving peak Om Shanti Om nostalgia that every ’90s and 2000s kid misses. The story is about an outsider, Aasmaan Singh, who wants to make it big in life, but ends up in a complicated situation with a superstar, Ajay Talvar, after he gets cast in a Karan Johar project opposite the superstar’s daughter, Karishma.  The plot explores the dark side of nepotism  and abuse of power, and the climax reveals the real intentions of Ajay Talvar.

3. Cassandra

A family moves into an old smart home controlled by Cassandra; an AI-powered humanoid. Samira, the mother, David, the father, their teenage son, and their young daughter have relocated to this smart home for a fresh start after a tragedy of their own. Here they face a greater threat when Cassandra grows possessive regarding them as hers and tries to get rid of Samira. Samira uncovers the fate of the previous family and the origins of Cassandra.

4. When Life Gives You Tangerines

Inspired by the real-life story of a couple on Jeju Island, this story is about a couple who fight various hardships throughout their life, including poverty, post-war hardships, patriarchy, and even the loss of a child. The story is about a girl, Ae-Sun, played by IU, who wants to be a poet, and her sweet, loving, and caring husband, who wants to protect her and uplift her, and goes against the patriarchal norms, which strikes a contrast to the men from that era.

5. The Witcher

Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter, is bound to protect Princess Cirilla, and later on crosses paths with a powerful sorceress, Yennefer., Geralt and Yennefer set out on a mission to a dark, fantastical realm full of dangerous creatures, kingdoms at war, and political conflicts. The story also includes a love triangle.

6. The Fall of the House of Usher

This series is an adaptation of the Gothic horror story written by Edgar Allan Poe. The story is about twins, Madeline and Rodrick Usher, who build an empire after going through a hard childhood and losing their mother, who had single-handedly raised them. With its gore details to graphic visuals, this series has several spine-chilling twists.

7. Bridgerton

This series is much more than a period drama. With its grand setup in London’s Regency-era, lavish ballrooms, and royal costumes, this drama  has left a mark on viewers not just for its visually appealing aesthetics but also for balancing and blending  the historic storyline with the right amount of modern touch and for having an inclusive cast.
