Mayur Ashok transferred

In a reshuffle of IAS officers on 12 January, K Mayur Ashok, who served as the Joint Collector of Visakhapatnam district for about two years, has been transferred.

The State government issued orders appointing him as the Commissioner of Guntur Municipal Corporation.

Mayur Ashok took over as the Joint Collector of Visakhapatnam in January 2024. During his tenure, he took several people-friendly decisions, provided efficient administration, and earned the appreciation of both officials and the public.

Gobbilla Vidyadhari, currently serving as the Joint Collector of Chittoor district, was posted as the new Joint Collector of Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, the government has issued orders appointing Kalpana Kumari, who is at present working as the Managing Director of GCC, as the Joint Collector of Prakasam district.
