Global MSME Export Summit will be held in Visakhapatnam on 9 and 10. The two-day meet is being organised by India SME Forum in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation.
According to a press note, the two-day meet will see participation of 34 international buyers from Russia, Sri Lanka, Hungary, United Kingdom, Austria, Japan, New Zealand, Egypt, Bahrain, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Togo, and Kenya.
They will explore business opportunities in diverse sectors such as automobile components, food and beverages, electronics, sanitaryware, agricultural machinery, IT services, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, textiles, and apparels.
The event will feature buyer sessions, pre-scheduled B2B meetings, and networking events. Through these, MSMEs in the Srate will be able to showcase their products and gain opportunities to expand exports.
Andhra Pradesh MSMEs with business registration and export readiness can participate in this programme. The selection will be done transparently with the aim of providing equal opportunities to representatives of various sectors. The aim of this effort is to position the State as a global sourcing destination and provide direct exposure to foreign markets for local companies.
Through this conference, the State’s industries take a step towards becoming a part of global supply chains, according to Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation chairman Tammireddy Sivasankara Rao.
