DIET ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Anakapalle, Vizag has been adjudged as  the Best Engineering College with excellent infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh and was awarded at Asia Education Summit & Awards organized by Worldwide Achievers in a Ceremony to felicitate India’s leading Universities and Engineering colleges for increased efficiency and improved performance at large.

College correspondent Sri Dadi Ratnakar received this prestigious recognition during a colorful event held at Hotel The Ashok, New Delhi on 15^th March 2016 where eminent personalities like Union HRD state Minister, Shri  Upendra Kushwa, Chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front, Shri MS Bitta, Parliament member Dr. Udit Raj, Parliament Member and film actress Kiran Kaur, Film Actress, Divya Dutta have graced the award function.

Talking to the media Sri Dadi Ratnakar said that Asia Education Summit for Education is the premier international platform dedicated to innovation and creative action in education where top decision-makers share insights with on-the-ground practitioners and collaborate to rethink education.

The awards were based on a comprehensive market research study and opinion surveys, where the basic infrastructural facilities, faculty ratio, students skillset, research projects and papers, alumni feedback, placement track , Professional Associations , NSS activities etc.

Sri Dadi Ratnakar said that he is overwhelmed with this recognition coming in the decennial year of DIET and has dedicated this to all the faculty, students, stakeholders, friends and well wishers with whose untiring efforts today the Institute has grown to an Institute of National reputation.

Principal, Dr. Ch. Srinivasu felt that this recognition has strengthened the institute and at the same time has provided the faculty and students a challenge to perform better in the years to come. He also quoted that the college has been graded with

‘ A’ grade by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in its recently released list of grading for Engineering colleges in the state. The facilities offered by the institute like incubation center and R&D centre have helped the students to develop various projects that bagged National and International awards. The students of DIET have recently bagged 2^nd Prize in National Level technical expo organized by DRDO at NSTL, Vizag as part of National Science Day celebrations this year.

DIET is proud to say that it is  the only institute in the state to offer its students membership in various professional bodies of National and International repute like IEEE, IET, ISTE, IETE, IE, IQN, ACM, CSI, Oracle, Infosys Campus Connect, JKC, APSMS, AP Chamber of Commerce and Industry federation and many more.
