
Andhra University College of Arts inaugurated a skill development centre here on Wednesday. Inaugurated by vice-chancellor Prof G Nageswara Rao the centre will cater to all the students of Andhra University.
Speaking about the same, Prof Nageswara Rao said the centre will help students enhance their communication and technical skills to ensure that they get proper placements in the industries without any struggle to find employment. Further, inviting the students, Prof Rao mentioned about the special one week soft skills and communication skills development programme to be conducted from February 13.
According to AU Registrar Prof V Uma Maheswara Rao, AU is committed to help their students get placed with good jobs for which the university will provide all the technological help and assistance to the students.
Later in the evening, congratulating all the 23 students from AU College of Science who were selected by the Sri Prakash Group of Institutions, the vice chancellor handed over the appointment letters to them. He also urged the students to do their best in the professional as well as academic field.
