CM’s Araku trip cancelled

The scheduled visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to Araku Valley on 29 January has been cancelled. According to an official note, the tour has been cancelled as he will be attending the funeral of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash on 28 January. The Chief Minister was scheduled to visit Araku Valley to inaugurate the Araku Utsav.

Pawan arrives in the city

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan arrived in Visakhapatnam on the evening of 28 January on a three-day tour in Visakhapatnam and the ASR districts. During this period, he will take part in a slew of programmes.

According to a press note, the district administration has been instructed not to cause any inconvenience to the public on the routes the Deputy Chief Minister travels. For security reasons, people have been advised not to bring bouquets, shawls, or plants while welcoming him at the programme venues.

Special arrangements have been made to receive petitions from the public. A special grievance cell has also been set up at the venues where the programmes are scheduled, and petitions received there will be brought to the notice of the Deputy Chief Minister.
