Bigg Boss 9 Telugu has been entertaining the audience with the task this week. Yesterday’s episode had it all: entertainment, drama, suspense, and shock. Here are the voting trends, elimination expectations, and highlights!
The voting trends this week have placed Ramya, Srinivas Sai, and Ramu in the bottom three, in no particular order. These three housemates are popular with the audience due to their professions. Ramu was almost eliminated last week, and Emmanuel used his special powers from the power astra to save him.
Thanuja helped the police catch one of the gang leaders, Sanjana, for a direct contender opportunity. Sanjana was imprisoned and lost the chance to be a contender.
After that, Rithu was given a secret task, where she had to write the words ‘kill‘ on Madhuri’s cutout, without anyone noticing. Rithu became another direct contender after she completed the task successfully. Since Rithu completed her task, this affected Madhuri’s chance at contendership, and she was disqualified.
The police have attempted to take Ramu out of the house just for fun, scaring the housemates a little. They diffused the situation after dancing with the housemates and left the house. But the real shock was Ayesha leaving the house. After testing positive for dengue and typhoid, Ayesha left the house to get better treatment.
With Rithu and Thanuja as the contenders, the rest of the housemates distributed their BB cash to become contenders. Some people gave up their money to support their favourites, like Gaurav supported Nikhil, while others distributed their cash equally.
Rithu is a part of Madhuri’s team, but she gave some money to Pavan, who was on another team. Even with the BB money from Rithu, Pawan failed to secure a contendership. Pawan and Rithu had a lengthy discussion about giving the money. Madhuri and Rithu also locked horns. Madhuri was furious that Rithu shared her money with Pawan, who was in the opposing team.
The contenders for the week need to pick the hat from a ring in the garden area. Contenders need to pick the hat out of the ring and give it to one of the housemates, who will eliminate one contender from the race.
Kalyan was the first to be eliminated from the race by Gaurav, who received the hat from Nikhil. Sanjana, who received the hat from Emmanuel, took Divya out of the race. This led to a small conflict between Sanjana and Divya, as Divya had been supporting Emmanuel from the beginning. Later, Rithu and Nikhil were eliminated when Emmanuel gave the hat to Madhuri.
Lastly, Emmanuel became the seventh captain in the house, marking an end to this week’s task.
Shortly after the captaincy task, Thanuja collapsed in the chair in the garden area. The housemates frantically carried her to the doctor’s room. Kalyan, Emmanuel, and Madhuri were seen crying in the episode for Thanuja. The episode ended with Kalyan promising that he would tell Thanuja something after he gets saved over the weekend.
