Spicy Venue initially started out in Hyderabad in 2002 as a takeaway point and a banquet hall. As the demand rose by, the joint was soon transformed into a restaurant in 2004. Spicy Venue, as the name suggests, is widely popular for its typically “spicy” food on offer. Apart from the main course cuisines of the Indian and Chinese, the restaurant boasts of an authentic Andhra Thali that is loaded with some signature fiery dishes. Also, the place’s MLA Potlam Biryani and Apricot Delight have been bowling over the crowds for more than a decade now.
Much to the delight of all its fans, Spicy Venue has bagged the ‘Times Award for the best Andhra Food’ for four consecutive years (2015-2018). Stamping its prominence as one of the best restaurants in Hyderabad, Spicy Venue has also been mentioned by the Wall Street Journal as one of the places in India to have the tastiest biryanis.
After treating the people for over 16 glorious years now, Spicy Venue will be setting up its branch in Visakhapatnam in mid-April, at Siripuram. So get set to be treated with some fiery and spicy flavours from an authentic Andhra kitchen.
