The sea facing Millennium Towers, in the port city of Visakhapatnam, is being completed at a rapid pace. The Millennium towers will, the officials feel, establish Vizag as a prominent leader in the technological sector. Andhra Pradesh state government has recently shared a video on its Facebook handle showcasing the development at the towers.
The Facebook post read, “The sea facing Millenium towers in #Vizag is getting its final look and it sure looks every bit contemporary. Nara Lokesh is personally following up the progress on a daily basis and making sure companies are made aware of the development.”
Vizag has also been identified to be developed into a leading blockchain hub in the country. The technology, which is expected to take major strides in many fields in the coming days, is being catered a lot of prominence by the state government. The blockchain business conference and the Agri-hackathon, conducted last year in the city were aimed at promoting the same.
Recently, eight startup companies have been shortlisted for incubation at the accelerator facility at the Fintech valley. The potential IT-boom in the state is not only expected to create innumerable jobs but is also poised to generate huge amounts of revenue for the state government.
