Scholarships-Digital Classrooms-Girl Students-Andhra Pradesh
In spite of the problems faced by the bifurcation, the primary concern is education on which Rs 23,209 crore is being spent, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao stated. Participating on the fifth day of the Nava Nirmana Deeksha at Andhra University on Tuesday, the Minister stated that the government will be distributing bicycles to the class 9 girl students. They will also be presenting scholarships to promote the girl child education in the state.
Apart from this, the government is soon going to introduce digital class rooms, and focus more on setting up of more number of model schools, teaching in English medium and distributing books and education material. All the promises made in the policy, including waiver of loans to farmers and DWCRA women, were fulfilled, the minister said.
The Minister gave away books and uniforms to students and youth who got guidance in skill development under National Academy of Construction.
