A team of doctors at KGH in Visakhapatnam has performed a complicated spine surgery on a nine-year-old girl.
According to a press note issued by the hospital, the girl, Tejaswini from Rambilli mandal in Anakapalle district, was admitted to the hospital last month with severe neck pain. In the tests conducted, it was diagnosed that she was suffering from Cervical Dorsal Junction (CDJ) kyphosis (D1–D2) and TB.
A team of doctors, under the supervision of Dr. Premjit Ray, performed surgery successfully.
Now, the girl is normal, according to hospital superintendent I. Vani.
She was all praise for the doctors’ team.
