Farhan Akhtar croons for Mahesh Babu in Bharat Ane Nenu

Bharat Ane Nenu is turning out to be one of Tollywood’s most awaited films this year. The Mahesh Babu starrer is all set to hit the screens on April 20th, with the pre-release event planned on a grand scale on April 8th in Vizag. The film seems to be ticking the right boxes ever since its announcement and the recently released first song, ‘The Song of Bharat’, seems to be taking the frenzy to all new level. The movie makers announced that the film’s second track, titled ‘I Don’t Know’, will be released on April 1st. However, there’s more to add to the excitement. In a video released today, it has been learned that Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar has lent his voice for this song.

In the video, Farhan Akhtar, who introduces himself as “Farhan Ane Nenu”, says he has sung for the first time in Telugu.

Mr. Akhtar is a popular name in Hindi cinema. He is a renowned director, actor, singer, and a producer. The man also won national recognition for his role in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.

After Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu marks the second film in the combination of Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva. Actress Kiara Advani will be seen playing the movie’s leading lady while Devi Sri Prasad

is composing the music. The film is being produced by Danayya DVV and will see Mahesh Babu don the role of a Chief Minister.
