Do you always look forward to pampering your taste buds with desserts? Subjected to bouts of sweet cravings? We give you a reason to celebrate. Yes! Pull up your socks and ring in ‘Butterscotch Pudding Day.’ No history of the origins of the date has been reported, but it is believed that this dessert has been around since 1848. After all, we don’t need a reason to celebrate. Do we? Running around in search of car keys or in a rush to book a cab to grab your bite of the pudding? Take a chill pill and read on the recipe to serve you to the yummy creamy butterscotch pudding.
Pudding in the making!
Bring milk to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat (2 cups)
Stir in brown sugar mixture (1 cup)
Return to a boil, and cook for 1 minute.
Place egg yolks in small bowl (2 eggs beaten)
Temper the yolks by quickly stirring in about 1/4 of hot milk mixture. Voila!
