Plans are ready for the development of all wards under the purview of the GVMC in Vizag, according to Mayor Peela Srinivasa Rao.
The Mayor, who laid the foundation stone for development works to be taken up with Rs. 2.63 crore in the 41st ward of the city on 15 December, along with MLA Vamsikrishna Srinivas and ward corporator K. Purnima, said the Alliance government was committed to all-round development of Visakhapatnam. The development works to be taken up include laying of roads and construction of toilets.
The Vizag Mayor also inaugurated the GVMC building in the ward.
Vamsikrishna Srinivas said each and every ward in the Visakha South was being developed as a model one. Zonal Commissioner Ramu and others were present.
