Wonder Woman is the origin story of the Amazon princess/demigod daughter of Zeus, Diana Prince‘s, transformation into the butt-kicking female warrior that we know her to be. The movie that is to be set in her island home of Themyscira is being directed by Patty Jenkins (Just Drive, Monster). If that is not #womenpower we don’t know what is. A superhero flick about warrior women, an amazing cast list, being directed by a woman. Amen!
