Multi-starrers seem to be on the rise with actors putting their egos aside and coming together to create magic. This much-awaited Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah starrer – Oopiri, that is the remake of the French film The Intouchables, has received rave audience reviews on Twitter so far.

What it’s about:

Seenu (Karthi), an ex convict, attends an interview in lieu of shelter after being thrown out of his house. But he ends up being appointed the caretaker of a quadriplegic business tycoon (Nagarjuna).

Why you should watch it:

The comedy-drama that was simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu depicts the story of a millionaire who gives more importance to human relationships and values than to monetary gains. Nagarjuna plays the role of the soft-hearted tycoon with aplomb. Tamannaah, who plays the role of his beautiful and smart assistant, has done a bang-up job. Karthi, playing the caretaker, does justice to his role. Watch the movie for the feel-good tearjerker that it is.
