Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority or VMRDA Chairman M V Pranav Gopal has directed officials and contractors to complete all the works related to the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport in the stipulated time.
Reviewing the progress of master plan roads that connect to Bhogapuram International Airport, VMRDA Chairman Pranav Gopal said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh were keen on early completion of the link roads to the airport.
He also directed them to ensure the handing over of TDRs to beneficiaries by coordinating with GVMC officials.
Similarly, steps should be taken to get permission from the forest department wherever necessary for laying roads, he said.
While focusing on early completion of the roads, there should be no compromise on quality, said the VMRDA chief, adding progress of works would be reviewed every 15 days.
Joint commissioner Ramesh and others participated in the meeting.
