Two state owned power distribution companies are going to start accepting payments through Bharat QR. It is a inter-operable quick response code acceptance solution. Bharat QR: It is a secure, network agnostic interface that enables customers to use smartphones to make payments. The personal information is kept secure without compromising privacy. Card numbers and CVV number is secure. Global payment technology company Visa and Andhra Pradesh government have come together to deliver this digital payment initiative. The digital payment option is for the customers of Eastern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited (EPDCL) and Southern Power Distribution Company of AP Limited (SPDCL).
