Vizag Food Truck Festival
The past few years have seen a surge in the food truck population in Vizag. Be it MVP Colony, Jail Road, or even Kirlampudi Layout, it has now become a common sight to spot food trucks bustling with foodies. The food truck fervour in the city will soon be touching a new high, with Vizag Food Truck Festival all set to return for its second edition.
Organised by Feast at Trucks, Vizag Food Truck Festival marked its inaugural edition in December 2017. Bringing together different food trucks, Feast at Trucks succeeded in organising the first-of-its-kind event in the city. The event also had a rocking band performance and other stalls to keep the participants engaged all through the day.
The second edition of Vizag Food Truck Festival is set to be organised on 27 January 2019. The upcoming carnival comes as a curated flea with select food trucks and live music performances. The fest will also host several stalls, much to the delight of the shoppers who’d be present at the event.
Feast at Trucks is a startup which is the brainchild of a couple of GITAM University alumni. The startup aims at developing a marketplace for food trucks across the country. The group has already organised food truck festivals in Hyderabad, Pune and Vizag as it gears up for better things in the coming days.
