S.S Rajamouli is perhaps the most talked about Indian director this year. His Bahubali 2, which released in April 2017, shattered all the box office records and emerged as India’s biggest blockbuster. Since then, there have been numerous speculations and rumours doing rounds regarding the director’s next project. While the director confirmed that he’ll work with Danayya DVV for his next, the story and the actors of it weren’t revealed.
However, a recent photo shared by Rajamouli on his social media accounts seems to have raised the stakes among the fans. The photo shows SS Rajamouli hanging out with actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. This, many felt, was a hint of the director’s upcoming movie that would be a multistarrer featuring both the superstars. But without any official confirmation, the rumours went silent.
However, a recent
interview of actor Sai Dharam Tej to TV channel TV9 seems to have ended the much-debated topic.
As a part of the interview, the actor was shown the photo sporting the three celebs. Seeing the photo, Sai Dharam Tej confirmed that the much-awaited combination will hit the floors. He said, “After initially seeing the photo, I thought it was a casual one clicked during a social gathering. Later, one of my friends called me and told the director is going to cast both the actors in his next film. I was amazed to hear the news and am super excited that SS Rajamouli will be presenting two of Telugu cinema’s biggest superstars on the same screen.”
Rajamouli worked with Ramcharan and Jr NTR in the past. While his Student No 1, Simhadri, and Yamadonga with Jr NTR were massive hits at the box office, Ram Charan’s Magadheera was an industry hit.
While the news has sent happy waves among the film enthusiasts, official confirmation from SS Rajamouli or any of the stars is yet to come.
