After a successful run in Telugu, RX 100 to be remade into Tamil

After emerging as a huge success in Telugu, director Ajay Bhupathi’s debut sensation, RX 100 is all set to be remade in Tamil. The film, which featured Karthikeya and Payal Rajput in the lead roles, set the T-town abuzz right since the release of its trailer and enjoyed a warm reception in the Telugu states.

With RX 100 striking a major chord with the younger audiences, it has been reported that production house Auraa Cinemas has bagged the Tamil remake rights for the film. Apparently, actor Aadhi Pinisetty has been chosen to play the male lead in the film’s Tamil version. The details of the remaining cast and crew, however, are yet to be revealed.

In addition to making a name for himself in Tamil, Aadhi has gained popularity among the Telugu audience as well. The actor’s recent films in Telugu include Rangasthalam, Agnyaathavasi, and Ninnu Kori among others.

It has also been reported that film industries of other languages too have exuded interest in remaking the film in respective languages.

RX 100 charts the story of a youngster who falls head over heels for a girl. Their fairytale, however, takes an ugly twist when he discovers a dark secret that shatters his life. A gripping narrative and a relatively unexplored storyline helped RX 100 rake moolah at the box office.
