Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually laid the foundation stone for Raymond projects to be established in the State on the second day (15 November) of the ongoing CII partnership summit in Visakhapatnam.
The group will take up the projects with Rs. 1201 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the Raymond group assured him of completing the projects by 2027. “We are confident of achieving the goal of generating 20 lakh jobs within three to four years,” said the Chief Minister, claiming a flood of investments into the State.
Stone was laid for drone city and space centre in addition to the already existing Kia Motors in Rayalaseema, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu said it was laudable that the Raymond group was manufacturing products useful for the aerospace and defence sectors.
