It is said in our country that a daughter brings home gold and other riches. This daughter is sure on her way to do the same.
PV Sindhu has successfully bagged herself a place in the Olympic final. She ensured that the “Tiranga” flies high and made the country proud, being a little away from getting us a gold medal.
PV Sindhu played against Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the badminton women’s singles semi finals beating Nozomi 21-19, 21-10 to enter the finals of Rio 2016 Olympics.
She is the 5th Indian female athlete to have stormed into Women’s Singles Finals and she has broken several records at the Individual level at the Rio Olympics 2016.
Post today’s match Sindhu’s father says that “The way Sindhu is playing she will bring gold medal for the country.”
