Newlywed woman’s tragic death on Simhachalam Railway Track in Vizag

A disagreement between a newly married couple led to the unfortunate death of a woman on Thursday on the Simhachalam Railway Track in Vizag. Sources confirm that the couple were arguing over the husband not allowing the wife to visit her parents’ house. The couple, who belonged to the Parvathipuram area, got married on 22 October 2023. After marriage, the couple shifted to a rented house in 89th Ward, Chandranagar.

It is learnt that the husband restricted the woman from visiting her parents’ house as she had just visited them ten days back. The wife went out anyway and reached Simhachalam Railway Station to visit her parents’ house. According to reports, she made a last call to her parents and informed them about the fight. The railway police confirmed that she died under the railway track after the call.

Learning that she left the house, her husband went to the Simhachalam Railway Station and came to know the unfortunate news of his wife’s death. It is known that the body is taken to KGH in Visakhapatnam for postmortem. SI Srinivasa Rao filed a case on the death of the woman at the Simhachalam railway track. Furthermore, the Government Railway Police (GRP), CI Dhananjaya Naidu took the husband into custody.
