State HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh performed bhoomi puja for several companies, including IT firms, in Visakhapatnam on 13 November.
The companies for which the Minister laid the foundation stone include World Trade Centre (WTC), Sails Software, Ispace Software Solutions, Tech Tammina Software Solutions, Phenom People, and Raheja IT Space. These companies, once operational, will generate jobs in large numbers.
According to Kiran, MD of Sails Software, the company will set up a centre with an investment of Rs. 21 crore, which will generate over 400 jobs.
Besides CEOs and MDs of the companies, MP Sribharat, MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao, APIIC chairman Manthena Ramaraju, officials, and others participated in the programme.
