In the latest, a major fire accident breaks out at a movie theatre at Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam on Monday morning.
The famous Sri Kanya Theatre in Gajuwaka area blazed in a fire on Monday morning. According to the reports, the fire started due to the short circuit of the cell towers located on the movie theatre.
The two screens in the hall got completely destroyed. Around 5 fire engines were deported at the theatre to bring the fire under control. It took 2 hours for the fire department to suppress the fire.
The firefighters have evacuated the staff in the theatre immediately. No casualties were reported as the movie shows begin at 11:00 am. It has been estimated that property worth crores has been damaged in the out break.
Due to the massive fire, the area around the theatre was occupied with black smoke which frightened the residents in the vicinity.
A probe into the specific reasons for the fire breakout is being carried out by the police officials.
