5 exciting films to thrill the audience on 21 December

As we nudge ahead towards bringing the curtains down on 2018, a few more films lie in the store, giving us all the more reasons to be thrilled about the remaining 10-odd days in December. Here are 5 exciting movies releasing this Friday.

#1 Zero

After disappointing with his previous film, Jab Harry met Seja, Shah Rukh Khan will be testing his luck with Zero on December 21. The actor will be seen playing a vertically challenged man in the film. Directed by Anand L. Rai of Ranjhanaa fame, Zero

also has Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as the female leads.

#2 Antariksham 9000 kmph

Young director Sankalp Reddy, after scoring a hit with his debut film, Ghazi, is all set to take the audience through a space journey this time around. Touted to be a sci-fi thriller, Antariksham stars Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi, and Aditi Rao Hydari as the mail leads. The film also holds the distinction of being the first Telugu film to be set in outer space.

#3 KGF- Chapter 1

Kolar Gold Fields, a.k.a KGF, has set the internet on fire with its super-interesting trailer. Being considered to be one of the costliest Kannada films to be made, KGF promises to be a gritty action thriller. In addition to Kannada, the film will also be releasing in Telugu and Hindi.

#4 Padi Padi Leche Manasu

Another reason for the Telugu audience to be excited about the movies releasing this Friday. Actor Sharwanand has teamed up with director Hanu Raghavapudi for his upcoming film, Padi Padi Leche Manasu. Starring Sai Pallavi as the female lead, the film’s trailer has grabbed with its recently released trailer and is expected to engage the audience as a breezy youthful entertainer.

#5 Maari 2

Coming as a sequel to Maari, the film would be hitting the screens amid much hype and frenzy. Starring Dhanush once again in the role of a fiery gangster, Maari 2 also features Sai Pallavi, making it her second film releasing this Friday. The film is expected to churn out decent numbers in the Telugu states as well and is one of the eagerly awaited movies releasing this Friday.
