Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has visited Vizag city on June 21. He attended the third phase of the housing site patta distribution programme at Andhra University Engineering College grounds. The Chief Minister, during the programme, has hailed the city and the development happening in the city.
He said that various departments are working constantly to keep Vizag clean and appreciated them for the progress. ” The city would soon be known as a health hub”, Chandrababu Naidu mentioned.
CM said that 11 advanced hospitals have been established in the city and another 12 are in construction progress.
In view of the city developing as an IT Hub, Naidu said that Fintech Valley, Conduent, Franklin Templeton, Paytm, Innova solutions, Innova Solutions, to name a few, have been established at IT Cez. ” We are putting efforts to develop Vizag in IT sector so that our children could work in the city itself “, he said.
Cheif Minister mentioned, “A sports city, similar to Gachibowli, will be constructed at Gajuwaka, Sabbavaram and Parawada junction.”
Speaking about developments at Vizag beach road, Chandrababu Naidu said that Rs 390 crores would be provided for the development of the coastline and tourism. ” The Lulu International Convention Centre will be developed in the likes of providing a seating capability of for 5000 people”, he said. An exhibition area would be constructed at 50,000 sq ft area. The area near TU-142 would be developed into an Integrated museum.
“Roads connecting Beach road and National Highways will be established. After the development, no other city can stand in competition to Vizag”, Naidu said.
