2 new air tour packages by IRCTC from Visakhapatnam

Winter is here and so are people’s plans for some exotic getaways. Be it the snowy mountains or the sandy desert. Meghalaya and Rajasthan are two of the most-sought winter destinations in India and hence, the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) have announced two new special air tour packages from Visakhapatnam to these places. The two packages extensively cover the natural beauty on offer in these two states which are on the opposite ends of the country.

Magical Meghalaya

Covering the vastly green and cold habitats of Meghalaya and Assam, this 6-day air tour package will take tourists through the Brahmaputra city of Guhawati, the place of waterfalls and rainfall; Cherrapunji, the cleanest village in Asia; Mawlynnong, and the home of the one-horned rhinoceros; Kaziranga National Park. 

This tour will kick off on 16 December, 2021 and will end on 21 December, 2021. The package includes economy class air tickets, night accommodation at a 3-star hotel, and breakfast and dinner.

Single occupancy: Rs. 45,311/-

Double occupancy: Rs. 33,070/- 

Triple occupancy: Rs. 32,275/-

Rajasthan Desert Circuit

Taking you through the vast reaches of the Thar Desert, this air tour package covers the cities of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner. A 7-day package, it allows you to explore the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan, along with having some fun in the desert. 

This tour will kick off on 20 January, 2022 and will end on 26 January, 2022. Like the previous package, this also covers economy class air tickets, night accommodation at a 3-star hotel and breakfast and dinner.

Double occupancy: Rs. 34,080/-

Triple occupancy: Rs. 33,215/-

Apart from these air tour packages to Meghalaya and Rajasthan, IRCTC recently launched a Pilgrimage Special Tourist deluxe train from Visakhapatnam to Gujarat. This train covers places like Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Ahmedabad and Statue of Unity.
