Working towards giving a voice to the youth in politics, Naga Sravan Kilaru founded Yuva Galam to best represent the aspirations and interests of the youth in the state. The 25-year-old, who has been crusading the cause on his bicycle and has covered 570 km across Andhra Pradesh until now, is now in Visakhapatnam to take the movement forward.
The founder of Yuva Galam also adds that it is important to look beyond the job aspirations of the youngsters.”Youth shouldn’t be looked upon as just job seekers. They should be provided with sufficient opportunities to take part in the governance and achieving this is one of our main agendas,” he says.
Sravan, along with other members and volunteers, will be leading the special at the Beach Road in Visakhapatnam. “We want to tell the people what the youth is capable of. The walk aims at sending across a strong message that the youth in Visakhapatnam will take the responsibility and play an active role in forming an informed and active youth citizenship in the country,” he shares.
